Romagna Albana DOCG Secco Macerato


Harvest 2020.

Mild spring, with little rainfall, hot summer during the day but temperate at night, with sufficient rainfall. Climatic conditions that led us to a slight advance in the harvest, but healthy and ripe grapes.

Grape variety

100% Albana from a Vineyard trained in Guyot system at a density of 5.000 vines per hectare (2,000 vines per acre). Grape production: 5000 Kg/Ha.


Calcareous-clayey mixture. Exposure south-west. Altitude 300/350 m.


Selected bunches harvested, de-stemmed and pressed by hand.

Winemaking process

Spontaneous fermentation with manual pressing of the skins, at an uncontrolled temperature, followed by a skin-contact maceration for about 7 months, in small concrete tanks. Refining for 5 months on its lees, and in the bottle for about a year. Nomacorc Select Bio 100 Closures with oxygen control.

Tasting notes

Old gold colour.

Complex aromas in which yellow and exotic fruit, genista and aromatic herbs are the preamble to linden honey and brackish notes. The sip is enveloping and tasty with a persistent savory and citrusy finish.
